The Nagy-Szénás Nature Trail begins in Nagykovácsi in front of the municipal office; it is 2 km long. The Sisakvirág Nature Trail covers 9.5 km and has an elevation gain of 420 m.

The Sisakvirág Nature Trail has eight information boards. Its starting point can be reached from Hűvösvölgy by taking bus 63 to the Nagykovácsi terminus and then walking for 20 minutes.
The Duna-Ipoly National Park recommends the Nagy-Szénás Nature Trail in Nagykovácsi as one of the trails in the Szénások area awarded the European Diploma.
Culture and History
The Teleki-Tisza Castle is a single-storey Neoclassical building dating from around 1840; it was formerly called Wattay Castle. During the 1848–1849 War of Independence, it served as Görgey's headquarters.
The Calvary Chapel was built in 1832 in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Stations of the Cross stand along the path leading up the mountain.
At the entrance to Nagykovácsi, the Szent-Sebestyén Chapel commemorates the cholera epidemic of 1737. It was consecrated by Parish Priest Pelzl on 17 August 1738 and completely rebuilt in 1900.
The Roman Catholic parish church on Nagykovácsi's main square is a Baroque national monument; it was consecrated in 1746. Ófalu in Nagykovácsi preserves characteristic Swabian features, including farmhouses, stone fences and Catholic monuments.
