Tatabánya: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

History

The monument commemorates the victory of Árpád’s Hungarian conquerors over the Moravian prince Svatopluk in Bánhida in 907.

The Bányászati és Ipari Skanzen in Tatabánya illustrates coal mining on the site of the former XV-ös mine. The grounds include a complete mining complex, furnished offices, an outdoor exhibition of machinery and an accessible underground mine area.

Nature

Szelim-barlang is a specially protected cave and a significant archaeological site.

The cave has a 45-metre-long and 18-metre-high chamber with three entrances at ground level.
