Nordmann Wildlife Park is located in the Eine Valley of Stangerode and covers approximately 300 hectares. Native and exotic animals live there. The expansive grounds combine wildlife observation with various trails and guided experiences.

The entrance to Nordmann Wildlife Park is located at the car park of the Nordmann Riding and Sports Hotel in Stangerode. Admission tickets are also available there. Dogs are not allowed in the park.

The wildlife park offers a guided 10-kilometre Unimog safari and a 3-kilometre walking route with animal enclosures and viewing points.

Culture

A village tour can include the confluence of the Leine and Eine rivers as well as the Murder Stone. The Murder Stone is a diabase stone associated with a local legend about a murdered monk.

Arnstein Castle is located near Stangerode. Schloß Asseburg and Falckenstein Castle, Castle Chapel are also located in the surrounding area of Stangerode. Falkenstein is also situated there.
