Today in world tourism China is a key incentive direction on the planet as well as educational and cultural artifact, which is wanted to be seen by millions. Tibet, Great Wall, Forbidden City, Shanghai, Hong Kong - these are the totems, which make the first impression of tourists, who visit China. However, this country is full of wonderful hidden treasures that many have not yet discovered. The five best romantic resorts in China - it sounds strange, but still worth to get acquainted with this phenomenon more closely.

Lijiang is a major industrial center, where is located a treasure of the world architecture - the town Dayan. Dayan is a unique monument of medieval South China, embedded in the rocks of the Leaping Tiger Canyon. It is situated at an altitude of 2,000 meters above the sea level. Preservation of the medieval buildings allowed Dayan to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. There is also another attraction in Lijiang – the Mount Yulong. Yulong mount is also located in Lijiang and is always shrouded by the clouds. It is believed that the sunshine breaks through the cloud veil only once a year on the day of the autumnal equinox. According to the legend, lovers, who will see this ray, will love one another for the whole life.

Hangzhou is another big Chinese city, which is located in the east part of the country. Hangzhou is famous as the first tourist destination in China. It has earned the reputation of a romantic resort thanks to the Lake Xihu (West Lake of Hangzhou), located in the western part of its historic center. Surrounded by the mountains from three sides, historically associated with the names of dozens of Chinese national heroes and having on its shores dozens of temples, the famous West Lake is known as a center of pilgrimage for the lovers, who come here for boating. In 2011 the lake with its temple ensembles and natural beauties was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Emei Mountain is a sacred Chinese Buddhist mountain, where is located one of the tallest Buddha statues - Leshan Giant Buddha. Here, on one of the Emei tops was once built the first Buddhist temple in China. In addition, Emei Mountain is, perhaps, the first place in the world, where originates the tradition for the newlyweds to secure their marriage with a symbolic lock. Lock is mounted on the cableway rails and the key is thrown into the abyss. The Chinese say that after this ritual nothing can separate the young.
Zhuhai is a beautiful resort and a neighbor of the gambling capital of China Macau. It is famous for its Lovers Road, walk through which means the same as fixing locks on the rails among the Emei slopes.

Tibet is the last in this list, but the first for many newlyweds, who choose this amazing country for their honeymoon. Tibet's reputation as one of the romantic destinations of tourism was reinforced by the recent opening of a luxury St. Regis Lhasa Resort hotel, which is considered to be one the most romantic hotels in China.
