Recreation in South Africa, which is known as one of the most exotic on the planet, has acquired another unique attraction to the list of its numerous safaris not so long ago. In one of the main sights of the country, the National Park - Cango Wildlife Ranch near Oudshoorn, the special entertainment was invented for tourists. The essence of the attraction is that tourists are placed in a cell with iron bars, which is located directly in the reservoir, where the real alligators live. So, paying around $ 40, anyone can feel like Crocodile Dundee.

The new attraction promises to be one of the main entertainments in the park. Today tours to South Africa become more and more popular, and such novelties drive additional interest to the region.

In addition to reptiles, tourist in the Cango Wildlife Ranch park have an opportunity to observe two (out of 250 remaining on the planet) Bengal tigers, photograph with cheetahs and other representatives of «big cats».

The park in Oudshoorn subsists for decades and it is already considered to be business card of tourism in South Africa. Even so the glory to this place was brought not only by Cango Wildlife Ranch. During the past hundred years Oudshoorn was famous as a region for growing ostriches. In the late 19th - early 20th century famous ostrich feathers, which were the latest fashion at that time, were delivered from Oudshoorn to Europe. Today many ostrich farms on the outskirts of Oudshoorn have the Show Farms status and offer tourists numerous interesting excursions. Oudshoorn is rightfully considered one of the best places to visit during a trip to South Africa. Butterfly farms, waterfalls Rus en Verde and the camel farm Camelriding are also located not far from the city
