Imperia is the westernmost province of Liguria with the provincial capital of Imperia and their accompanying 67 municipalities. It offers about 1000 km² of a very special landscape.

The Ligurian Imperia province is in the production of wine, olive oil and exotic plants. A few kilometers above the provincial capital of Imperia is the countryside through the valley of the river Prino. Here starts the famous route of olives (Strada dell ‘Olio), the medieval town Dolcedo is the centre for local millers from which the oil extracted.
