Tourists will Pay to Enter Venice

Soon tourists will have to pay 1 Euro if they want to enter Venice. As soon as the rate for privacy was abolished, the Venice authorities started thinking of making tourists pay for their right of entry to the city.

As the Travel.ru reports, the burgomaster of Venice believes if every tourist will pay 1 Euro for the right of entry to the city, this will bring about 18 millions to the city treasury.

The trouble is when the rate for privacy was abolished, many of the Italian cities lost money to support the development of the cities. So, the paid entry to Venice just one of the ways out. As soon as the government of the country approves the innovation, it will become effective.

Of course, the innovation has its supporters and opponents. Many of the hotel owners believe that as soon as the innovation will be approved, much less one-day tourists will come to Venice. But from the other hand, as the trip organizers believe, this will make no matter for the tourists who book excursions in Venice.
