Salles sur lHers lies 58 km. west of Carcassonne. The detached, cosily furnished houses Pastel (117 m) and Les Tournesols (31 m) are situated, together with the owners house, on a parcel of 2 ha. Together with the neighbors house they form the hamlet Argousse. The houses are situated between sunflower fields or grain fields. Le Pastel (FR-11410-02) has been partially renovated in 2004 and therefore some what more luxurious furnished. Both properties have a partially by bushes fenced garden (full of fruit trees) with garden furniture and barbeque. You have access to a shared swimming pool of 5 by 12 m. with lounge chairs and parasols. In the area are various activities to start such as swimming or surfing in Lac de la Ganguise at 8 km. (10 min. by car), visit Carcasson at 60 km., Toulouse at 61 km., Foix at 45 km., visit different castles or caves or take a walk in the forest. For children it is nice to visit the 'Parc Australiën', a theme park about Australia. Characteristics: The accommodation has 4 bedrooms, but can be rented to a max. of 2 adults and 2 children.
