Venezuela

Venezuela

Venezuela is located in the North of South America and borders on Brazil, Columbia and Guyana. The Western area of the country is nearly 3,000 km long Caribbean coast and its offshore islands. Venezuela’s landscapes are incredibly diverse and they are created by the huge Andes, great desert and steppe zones and the Orinoco River with its vast swamps and rain forests.

The capital, Caracas, is the cultural center of Venezuela and it has more over than 20 museums and many theatres. The varied coast of the country can be explored from the city of millions. Particularly noteworthy are the natural paradise of Isla Margarita, the Los Roques archipelago, Morrocoy National Park and the Pariah peninsula situated in the far-east.

Holidaymakers will find the entire coastal area of a variety of beautiful accommodations in various tourist centers. The biggest attraction of Venezuela is its spectacular and varied nature.

In the Andes that stretch far to the East mountain climbers, trekking tourists and hikers can find a unique area with deep valleys, panorama roads and plateaus. In the original mountain villages one can find excellent holiday homes.

Another beautiful region is in the South of Venezuela. The Gran Sabana is one of the most beautiful landscapes on the Earth. The grandiose nature of the park is created by the rugged table shaped mountains Tepuis between which the innumerous rivers run. Near the Laguna de Canaima, closer to the West, visitors can see the Fall Angel which is the highest waterfall in the world. If you are going on individual tour round the country, then you should visit small Spanish colonial cities with their beautiful churches.
