La Spezia

The province of La Spezia is a region in the Italian Liguria, which is situated on the Mediterranean Sea. Their most famous cities are Lerici, Sarzana and Porto Venere. The most famous province is La Spezia but the Cinque Terre is also very famous for its unusual arrangement of the 5 villages by the sea. every year thousands of visitors from all over the world come here to enjoy their holiday. Accommodation can be found in all 5 villages but if you wish, then you can rent a cheap small summer house that is situated a little bit far from the main places to get.

The Cinque Terre is the approximately 12-kilometer-long coastline of the Riviera situated northwest of La Spezia from five small communities of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Of course, it is possible to discover the whole diversity of the village in 2 to 4 days but many tourists prefer to stay there even longer and often come back there again. In any case one should use the opportunity to visit Lerici because of Castellos that is terrific right on the sea.

The certain villages are determined by a few hundred meters of long basins. There one can find good wine, vitamins, citrus and olives. Agriculture is the main way to earn for a living for the inhabitants over there, but they also earn fishing. The residents and the many visitors to Easter and Pentecost usually use the train because it usually takes only few minutes to get from village to village. But if they make the same route by car, then it will take them much time. To make traveling fun and beautiful one should win another perspective to go to the mountains and sea.

In addition to the villages and interesting footpaths between them, the largest attraction is the toll road via dell’amore that couples in love like to use. It wanders through the vineyards and olive slopes and it is delighted with the magnificent view of the Mediterranean.
