Senegal is a very beautiful African country that is a very young but at the same time well-known all over the world.

Its capital Dakar is a host city for the famous car racing Paris-Dakar, and it receives its winner in December. But even not a rally is the main sight of the country.

Senegal has got a very picturesque landscape. In the North of the country is rather deserted but in the south it has got many tropical forests. It also has got wonderful beaches that are very beautiful. The underwater world is very beautiful and magnificent so travelers can get much pleasure from divining. It also offers other kinds of water sports. If you like fishing, then Senegal offers you a wonderful opportunity for this. During the summer months in Senegal waters you will find large populations of fish, so many centres now offer you to try yourself in fishing sports.

Senegal is a tourist country so you will find many tourist areas over there. One of the most prominent among them is the toursist centre Salix. There you will find many interesting things for you to entertain – tennis courts, a beach and a swimming pool, courts for playing golf, etc. You will also be able to enjoy diving and surfing, water skiing and horse riding and many other things. Besides, the night life is also hectic there. In this area you will find many bars and night clubs.

Ties is the second largest city of Senegal. It has become prominent for its carpet producing.

While making a trip to Senegal you should also visit some places of interest there. You shouldn’t miss the chance to go to the Pink Lake there. It is called so because of its water color – it is really pink. The concentration of salt in a lake is so high that it is even impossible to be drown there.
