The French consumer consulting company Présence Mystery Shopping presented the rating of the best shopping streets in the world.

According to the company representatives, they relied on the tourists’ opinions when choosing the research areas. Preference was given to the streets that were named the most popular by the respondents.

In order to prepare a high-quality and thorough research the company sent 90 representatives to different around the world to study the assortment and entourage of the boutiques on the 30 most famous shopping streets. According to CNN, restaurants, clothes demo rooms and shops were also studied during the research.

In assessing boutiques Présence Mystery Shopping experts guided by the following criteria:
- Image
- Benevolence
- Atmosphere
- Contact with passers-by

After calculating the accumulated balls was prepared the rating of the main streets that can rightfully be called the best shopping streets in the world. The first rank was occupied by the Orchard Road in Singapore. According to the company specialists, who carried out a secret inspection, the main shopping street in Singapore could become a leader because of its atmosphere, cleanliness and a huge range of goods. On the Orchard Road are located 22 mega shopping malls and six department stores, which assortment will amaze even the most selective buyer. Nevsky Prospect in St. Petersburg took the 26th place. Moscow was not included into the rating.
