Christmas Fair on the Potsdamer Platz is popular due to the large number of attractions. Of course, there are also many shops here. Here come thousands of Berliners and city guests to walk through the trade pavilions and study sales in the giant Sony Centre. But attractions are still at the first place. Among them are huge ice rink and the largest in Europe mobile toboggan track with 70 meters in length and 12 meters in height.
Christmas Fair in Altstadt Spandau
It is considered that the fair in the historic district of Spandau is the largest in Berlin. It hosts about 250 pavilions during the working days and 400 at the weekend. This fair is mostly designed for young people, as one of the main elements of the local holiday program is a Friday rock concert, which begins at 18.00. Among the unusual events is medieval plague procession, which takes place every Wednesday on the Reformationsplatz. But it's a goth attraction. And for good children is organized a fair near the church of St. Nicholas and Christmas garden of St. Nicholas.
