Beer in Munich: Tollwood Winterfestival 2011

From November 23 to December 31 at the famous Munich Theresienwiese will be held Tollwood Winterfestival 2011 winter festival, which is the second popular festival among the Bavarians after the Oktoberfest. The Tollwood’s story begins in 1988, when was held a modest cabaret open air festival, however, over time the program and the basic idea of the festival changed and its popularity has increased dramatically. Tollwood even began to be held twice a year ¬- in summer and winter. But winter festival is still considered to be the main event. Tollwood Winterfestival annually attracts more than half a million tourists from all over the world.
Tollwood Winterfestival is able to attract and impress anyone, regardless of age and sex. It is a festival of different, often opposing cultures, the festival of contrasts and dissonances, where the avant-garde exhibition can be located near the Renaissance art gallery. Here tourists can visit the performances of the world famous circus clowns and 10 minutes later enjoy the classical theater, compare the skills of modern dance groups with the classical ballet. The same diversity can be seen in the numerous cafes, which are temporarily installed at the Theresienwiese during the festival. Guests of the Tollwood Winterfestival 2011 can taste dishes from different countries prepared by Thai, French, Italian, Moroccan and German chefs. The visitors will be impressed by the traditional Idea Market, where anyone can buy really original souvenirs and presents for the Christmas and the New Year.
Tollwood Winterfestival’s motto this year is "Aufgetischt" (translated as carriage or tent). The program of the festival includes performances of the Australian variety show "Cantina", cabaret duo "Ulan & Bator" and four premieres of the Nouveau Cirque-Shows. Especially interesting are such exhibitions as "Wild Nature - in the wake of the last mysteries of the earth" and "Space views", which for the first time will be presented private photos taken by the astronauts outside the Earth.

Britain ask tourists to stay
VisitEngland national tourism agency decided to start the large-scale advertising campaign to promote holidays in the UK. Talking about the virtues of vacations on the beautiful austere British Isles the authors hoped to attract by this advertising concept at least some part of the multi-million flow of British tourists from hot resorts in Spain, Italy and Greece.

At the end of April 2012 British publication Restaurant has published another list of the best restaurants on the planet - The World's 50 Best Restaurants. This rating has been published since 2002 and over the last ten years could become one of the most respected in the world.
