Barack Obama has decided to sell his summer house. The summer residence of the President of the United States - Blue Heron farm, located in Massachusetts on the Martha's Vineyard Island - is on sale for 23.7 million dollars.

Blue Heron farm is known in the United States under its second name - "summer White House." The estate is located on a total area of 28.5 acres. The company that will sell this luxury property will be the authoritative Wallace Co Sotheby's International Realty.

According to Forbes, the cost of one day living in this luxury property will cost $50 000. The estate consists of five separate buildings, including a massive mansion with total area of 1000 square meters. The mansion has four bedrooms, a reception room for the press and a wine cellar. Also the Blue Heron has a guest house for five bedrooms. In 2011 Barack Obama vacationed in this residence with his family.

Blue Heron earned the farm title thanks to the large stables, situated in its territory. At one time these stables were dismantled and moved to the island from the eastern part of Pennsylvania. They include the dressage, which dimensions correspond to the Olympic standards.

In the Blue Heron are also available such advantages as swimming pool, golf course, tennis courts, basketball ground, bowling in the open air and located nearby beach.

Real estate agency Wallace Co Sotheby's International Realty was quick to announce that it has already received several offers from potential buyers.

Barack Obama is not the only American president, who chose the estate on the island as a residence for summer holidays. In Blue Heron also lived Ulysses S. Grant and Bill Clinton.

Martha's Vineyard Island, where the estate is situated, is known not only as a place of summer residence of the President of the United States. It is tragically linked with the Kennedy clan. In 1999 near the island coast crashed the plane of the son of President Kennedy. Here, on Martha's Vineyard, is located the grave of actor John Belushi. And In 1974 the island was the site of filming Steven Spielberg's "Jaws."
