Barcelona: 7 museums on one ticket

Tourism Centre in Barcelona once again offers the guests of the city a magnificent gift. Now all the tourists visiting this amazing city will be able to visit seven most famous museums in Barcelona buying just one ticket. "Articket 2011" is the so-called museum ticket, which costs just 20.90 euros. You can purchase it directly in Barcelona at the Estación de Sants railway station, in the airport of Barcelona, as well as the Plaza de Catalunya (Pl. de Catalunya) and in the tourist information office.
In addition Articket 2011 can be booked via the internet on the site www.barcelonaturisme.com. In this case electronic ticket is exchanged for the real in one of the 7 museums. It should be noted that such actions were already arranged in Spain, but in previous cases buying and booking of tickets was poorly organized and the number of participating museums was lower. Now everything is done to maximize the convenience. Articket 2011 is valid during six months starting from the first visit.
Museums and cultural centers in Barcelona involved:
Museum of Contemporary Art on the Angeles Square 1. Here is located the largest in Barcelona exhibition of contemporary art of the last 50 years.
Catalonia National Art Museum in Montjuic Park, where presented works of Spanish artists from 11 to 20 century.
Museum of life and work of Antoni Tapies, one of the great masters of world art in the second half of XX century.
Fund Catalonia Kaisha, the famous architectural building of Antoni Gaudi, which is better known as "Casa Mila". Here is located a permanent exhibition dedicated to the cult Catalan architect.
Picasso Museum will allow to fully experience all the genius of the artist.
Joan Miro Foundation - the largest collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures of the Catalan abstract artist.
Centre for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona, in addition to the permanent exhibition devoted to the contemporary art, is the venue for various cultural events.

Britain ask tourists to stay
VisitEngland national tourism agency decided to start the large-scale advertising campaign to promote holidays in the UK. Talking about the virtues of vacations on the beautiful austere British Isles the authors hoped to attract by this advertising concept at least some part of the multi-million flow of British tourists from hot resorts in Spain, Italy and Greece.
