Beach Road Hotel in Sihanoukville, will be practically completely rebuild. The number of rooms of the hotel will be tripled, a pool both an additional bar and restaurant will appear there. At Beach Road Hotel the cinema hall and tourist office will be opened. Besides that, the tourists, decided to have a vacation in Cambodia, can rent one of cosy bungalows on the territory of the hotel, which are located directly on the seacoast.
Located on the peninsula, significantly prominent to gulf of Siam, Sihanoukville attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world. The city practically all year round is ready to receive visitors, even during a season of rains when in Cambodia, as well as in neighboring Vietnam and Thailand typhoons and strong gales occur frequently. The majority of days in a year this Cambodian resort pleases tourists with the quiet sea and pleasant weather.
Recreation and entertainments in Sihanoukville are diverse. Even the most fastidious holidaymaker can choose whatever he likes for any taste and price. And even though Cambodia remains now one of the cheapest countries of Asia, for the sake of justice it is necessary to notice, that time of fantastic cheapness already passes. Thanks to the geographical position, a city quickly becomes the important economic and tourist centre of the country. Already now the real estate market in Sihanoukville promptly grows. Practically all suburban territory along sea coast is already bought, and mass construction of new guest houses, hotels and hotels is conducted.
Near Sihanoukville there is a set of small isles, on which sports and tourist complexes with the developed infrastructure are located.
