To St Petersburg without Visa
(All over the World)
St Petersburg is a very beautiful city that attracts tourist from all over the world. All the tourists, who want to visit it, are required to have an entry visa. But it seems that the situation is going to change for the better.
The governor of St Petersburg, Valentina Matvienko, proposed to pass an act according to which the foreign tourists will be allowed to spend 72 hours in the Northern capital of Russia. As Valentina Matvienko says, over 1.5 million of foreign tourists per year will be able to visit St Petersburg if the visa system will be cancelled. And this will bring over €33 millions to the budget of St Petersburg.
The issue whether the foreign tourists will be able to visit St Petersburg without visa or not will be discussed on June, 29. And June, 30 it will be discussed at the Russia Federation State Duma meeting.
So, hopefully in the nearest future foreign tourists will be able to take part in excursions and do the sights in St Petersburg without a visa.
