No Smoking at Sheraton Hotels

Smoking has never been a good thing especially for health. And Sheraton Hotels and Resorts decided to struggle against smoking. Soon Sheraton Hotel brands will ban smoking in their 300 hotels and resorts more that are situated in the USA, Canada and in the Caribbean. There is a good example of 70 smoke-free resorts and hotels in the USA, Canada and Caribbean. It is not the only example of smoke-free resorts and hotels. In 2006 smoking was banned at Westin Hotels and Resorts.

Both Westin and Sheraton Hotels and resorts are going to become completely smoke-free by December 31, 2008.

After smoking will be banned in Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, over 8,000 rooms will be totally cleaned. Air conditioning, walls, hard surfaces and rugs will be also cleaned. Besides, it is planned to ban smoking in the hotels public areas. However, those who smoke will also find an outdoor area in every resort.
