SunInvest Fair’07
(Holiday Real Estate Advisor)”SunInvest” is the German first fair for second real estates. It is usually held since October, 19 – 21. The real estate agency PlanetHome determined, 19% of all residential proprietoers already possess a secondary real estate; 72% think about buying it.
The investors’ interest can be satisfied by the holiday house at the Baltic Sea up to the office real estate in Dubai, from old residence in Egypt up to the well-rented Hamburg free hold flat. On the fair they can select real estate from 20 countries starting from 30.000 up to 5 million euro. It is expected that there will be more than 70 exhibitors.
As Luc Paeme, the managing director of SunInvest says “Secondary real estate is enormously in coming”. Such a fair was twice held successfully in Belgium and many thousands of Germans visited it. Therefore the organizer hopes for the high resonance. The desire for a solid arrange and having own summerhouse is not a dream of holiday-makers any more. Today young families, medium-size entrepreneurs and pensioners invest in “Second Homes” as age precaution.
Good capital conditions favour the trend: private households in Germany have the record ability of over 4 million euro, and the residential property is twice as favorable today to finance as 10 year before (LBS Research). Paeme stresses “However, the respectable consultation is crusial”. In addition there would be lectures and workshops during the fair. “Those who are interested in a holiday house in Spain, can get all important information from the financing over country-specific notary costs up to renting tips”.
In Germany there are more than elsewhere in Europe property owners. Being the travel world champions they invest their money in other vacation countries such as Spain, Turkey or Thailand. “On the SunInvest is also represented the apartment in Munich, the windmill in Holland or the office floor in Shanghai” promises Paeme.
